Deceived From Pole to Pole – A Bipolar Production

cropped-landscape-with-water-free-license-cc01-314x2241.jpgOne of the most fundamental principles of human existence is self-exploration as a means to self-mastery.

You and I have this, to some degree, on a daily basis. Through all the random encounters, the relationships, the conflict resolutions, and the wicked curves that life tends to throw.

The Ultimate Reality – You Are the Entire Cosmos

I am 36 years old.
The Earth has completed 36 rotations around the sun during my physical existence. The ultimate carnival ride, right?

As a child, I was continually exposed to Christianity. It started early. If my memory serves me well, I’d say it began at the age of 5 or 6.

On Sundays, my family and I would attend church services. My brother and I attended “Sunday School” at the church before the sermon. I guess the reason for this was to mold our young, innocent minds?
Sunday School was strange. I recall feeling

Character Differences and Religious Beliefs Should Not Divide Us.

Within the last couple of years, I have come to fully understand that you and I are connected in ways beyond our comprehension.

It’s so beautiful and so mysterious — it’s what gives life that magic feeling.

You and I are working together subconsciously — all the time.

What that work is, I can’t say for sure but, I do know we have a common purpose.
I wish I could explain it. It would make things easier, wouldn’t it? But, as you and I both know — we aren’t meant to fully understand it. Not yet.

How often do you check-in with yourself?

Hey, how are you feeling today?

How many times have you been asked this question? If you’re like most people when you encounter this quick, passing-by, hello to a colleague or friend, this is the default conversation we’re all familiar with:

“Hey! Good morning! How are you?”
“Hey! I’m good, how are you?”
“Not too bad, thanks!”
“That’s great…Well, have a good day!”
“Hey, thanks — you too!”

Heard that exchange before? Yeah, me too.

Of course, the dialogue may differ slightly depending on who you’re talking to but the overall theme is the same. It’s a quick exchange of information that really doesn’t hold much substance but, we do it to acknowledge each other’s presence.

Janet Marie is my Mom. And I miss her.

Janet Marie and Matthew Frederick 1980. (Photo)

mom and me16 years ago today – My Mother’s last word was written in her book of life.

She passed on with grace. Remaining selfless and exuding love to the last moments of her physical human experience.

Everything I’ve done, all the incredible things I’ve yet to do, and all the people that will benefit and be inspired by what I do – is all for her.

My life-work is a dedication to Janet Marie.

Thank you, Mom. I miss you like crazy.

You’re still my hero.  I love you.

Your grateful son,
Matthew Frederick.

You Are a Genius – So Am I and So Are We – They Are Too.

What is 1+2? What is the value of 1? What is the value of 2? If we take the value of 1 and add it to the value of 2, what is the outcome? Given what we have learned throughout our lives, the value we get is 3. Now, my question is this – Do you accept that?

Is there any part of your mind that has a desire to question it or are you 100% sold on 1+2=3? If you do have, even a slight hesitation to accept it, then you’re on the right track.

The path to personal enlightenment may seem elusive – but it’s not.

There are many avenues that consistently move us closer. Maybe an extra 10 minutes of gazing at the clouds while being consumed with awe and amazement, secretly sending positive vibes and love to a stranger, or by staying silent and listening to your thoughts. It’s constant progress but the most important thing is that awareness and personal growth remain routine.
There are many pathways to choose. On this path – we discover fragments of our true nature. Something that ignites a fire in your gut and gets hotter as you put your attention on it. This is when you know you are on to something.

Collective Consciousness and Bunk Beds.

bunk bedsWhen I was 6 years old, my younger brother and I had bunk beds.

30 years ago, bunk beds were assembled differently than they are today. We had, basically, 6 pieces of wood per bunk held together by screws. A three-inch, pencil sized spike was then placed into each hole of the frame. The spikes were attached to the top bunk and the holes were in the bottom bunk. Insert spike into the hole and, presto, bunk beds.
Being the adventurous kids that we were – we took apart the two frames. (No more fighting over top bunk) The small wooden sticks had to be broken off the top bunk so that it could lay flat on the ground. This also left the 4 open holes on the bottom bed.
Of course, being a kid, that means you see what you can put in there, right? How about a freshly sharpened pencil?
Apparently, that was my thought process. I don’t recall anything about how the pencil got there or even who put it there. All I know is that it was there with a sharpened lead tip facing up.
