Beliefs and Character Differences Should Not be Divisive

You and I are connected in ways beyond our comprehension.

Beautifully mysterious, isn’t it?

I think it is.

In fact, you and I are working together subconsciously — all the time.

What that work is — I don’t know…

I do feel we have a common purpose, though.

Sometimes I wish I could explain it or, at least, understand it. It would make things easier, wouldn’t it? Maybe?

But, as you and I both know — we aren’t meant to fully understand it. Not yet…

You Are an Essential Ingredient to Existence

Get outside and allow the sounds
to move the hairs in your inner ear – with no judgment or reasoning

Have you ever stood in the rain and felt sincere gratitude that you’re able to experience that specific moment? Feeling the droplets of water crash into your skin?

How about sitting quietly outside – focusing on nothing but the sounds of the nearby birds? Not in a way that attempts to figure out the meaning behind their endless chirping but – in a way to simply allow the sounds into your mind. Be present and experience the sense of hearing as nature sings?

If you have never done this – I encourage you to. Do it today.

With that said –

I do not meditate.

Unsettled Science of Vaccines and Their Potential Link to Autism – Do We Know the Truth?

I Am Not Anti-Vaccine.
I do not believe vaccines cause autism

I do believe more research is required before we dismiss them into the darkness.

I am a reasonable guy – asking questions.
I am also the Father of a handsome little man that received an Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis in 2008 – at age 2 and a half. He’s now 11.

If you’re pro-vaccine and believe science has proven their safety – please read on – I come to you from a place of love and have humanity’s best interest at heart.

I am Awake as the Puget Sound Sleeps – Always.

But I’m not the only one

As usual, the Puget Sound sleeps while I sit, and mentally pace, wide-eyed at my desk.

This evening, I found myself attempting to organize projects that are halfway complete or barely started.  Most are  files on my laptop that I toss around like my laundry – as I throw them in random folders, straight to the desktop, or in one of eight folders that are named “writing” in some form. Such as

Life – the Great Professor.

What have I learned so far?

  • Stretch often, work hard, but always play harder than you work.
  • Life is strange – as it should be. Embrace that mystery.
  • At any given moment – life is playing beautiful music. Don’t forget to dance with the present note.
  • Your experience is the only one that matters. Do not lose sight of this.
  • Remember this: regardless of how much time you spend on making those important decisions in life – in the end, a snap judgment is made in the moment.

You Are Not Just a Human – You Are Everything All At Once.

I entered this physical world on September 11, 1979. I have always assumed I was conceived on New Year’s Eve 1978 so, I suppose that is the night I began this journey. It is also the night I began gathering information.

Not a day has gone by without my brain gathering information that I will ultimately carry with me in this experience.

I want to discuss something that I rarely write about — even considering it’s something that I think about daily. The topic I am referring to is God — what is God?

Synchronicities – The Universal Tools of Creativity

What are Synchronicities?

Have you ever given much thought to that question?
Have our definitions to things like this become simplified due to lack of mathematical understanding of the universe?
Maybe it’s nothing more than simple apathy.
Maybe it’s neither, and I am the one that is hallucinating?
I asked this question to a friend a couple of days ago.

Does Time Heal all Wounds? What Wounds and What is Time?

Galactic Pyrotechnics

Galactic Pyrotechnics

April is here.
I am here.
You are here.
So – what time is it where you are?
What’s the universal time?

What is the deal with time?

Specifically, the phrase, “Time heals all wounds.” This is one of those phrases that, I believe, is responsible for the disempowering effects that our language has produced.

Politics and party hats

I thought I’d start the day by jumping in on the political opinion-party. I see all of you sporting those smooth party hats as you post your thoughts on Facebook — while you may or may not know, I am a party hat collector and self-assigned critic.

I cannot sit in silence any longer – give me one of those sweet party hats.

It’s Difficult to See Life’s Perfections When You’re Focusing on Imperfections.

butterflyI heard a quote recently that has impacted and inspired me. Steve Jobs quoted it in a speech but, I do not know the original source — the quote is this:

“If you live each day as if it were your last, one day you’re sure to be right. “

I have read and heard many great quotes over the years but, there is something about this one that feels like a left jab to my chin. Something that has one motive – and that motive is to wake me up to what it means to be fully alive and experiencing this ride.
